Our Owners

  

Islands Fish Grill is a locally owned and family run establishment. Purchased in 2014 by John & Lori Tedesco-Williams, to encourage the career of their son Jared, a 2011 Culinary Institute of America graduate. It serves as a local go to place for fresh locally caught fish, in a family friendly beach environment. 

The business was started in early 1998 by Ian Greenwood, local culinary legend now based in Mexico. He was the original chef/creator of the signature dish – “Onion Crusted Grouper” with caramelized citrus glaze.   This dish is still an area staple and long time local favorite.

Here at Islands Fish Grill we pride ourselves on using the finest ingredients along with serving Boat to Fork locally caught fish. How do we accomplish this? It’s simple, Islands Fish Grill holds its State of Florida Wholesale License and Federal South Atlantic Fishery License to ensure we bring in fish directly sourced from our shores and local licensed fishermen.

We are one of the first Boat to Fork, Ocean and Environmentally Friendly Restaurants in Brevard County.   Please see our Partners page for their websites and for additional information.

Lori and I thank you for choosing to dine with us and we certainly hope your experience and choice in dining options are something worth talking about. We take great pride in our family run establishment with our son Jared heading the kitchen, and his brothers Ethan, Ian and Arthur assisting.  We hope the family environment makes your experience special.

Our Chefs

Our Executive Chefs Jared Moretti and Nate Saint Denis.  Jared is a Culinary Institute of America graduate of Hyde Park, NY in 2011 and Nate who also did  Culinary Study locally and worked for many upscale fine dining restaurants in the area.  

Special Events and Catering

Our restaurant is available for private events: weddings, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, on or offsite and more. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event. 

Seasonal and Local

We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. That's why we source our fresh ingredients from local farmers and fishermen. We are one of the only restaurants in Space Coast in Brevard County to hold our Wholesale and Federal Permits to deal directly with our local commercial fisherman and you will taste the difference.
